Summer Ice Cream Party

What screams summer more than ice cream? This easy party is both darling and memorable and maybe one of our faovrite things we've done yet!

Let’s chat ice cream for a minute!? Have you ever met anyone who didn’t love ice cream? The best part about this ice cream party is that it’s customizable to your guests and favorite ice creams. We wanted to celebrate our kids hard work this past year in school so ice cream seemed like the best way to do that. These kids did harder things than we did when we were in elementary and we are just so proud of them/all of us for making it through a hard year.

For this party we chose 3 pink ice creams so we could do a little ombre effect and we aren’t mad about how it turned out! We used wooden skewers to really stack the ice cream high!

You don’t always need to go all out for parties or events you host rather pick one detail you can focus on. This will not only save you time and money but it’s just a simple way to bring those details forward making sure everyone will notice them.

We also welcomed our guests with a “Welcome to Summer” sign which really helps set the mood!

Ice Cream Party Check List:

Ice Cream:

• We went with a pink theme here, but you could really do any colors or flavors you like. It would be so fun to do chocolate and then maybe a lighter chocolate or even a cookie dough ice cream as the topper. Maybe peanuts as the sprinkles?

• Sprinkles

  • Have fun with this! Maybe add in an opposite color to catch the eye or go with something that really pops and has a few different textures within the sprinkle mix.

• Marshmallow Cream

  • Pro tip….dip your cones into the cream and then into the sprinkles. They stick really welll and are super yummy. You can also use frosting but that will melt easier.

• Diet Cokes (for the mamas!)

Although a little bit our of structure is out the window we are excited to welcome 2021 summer! Some lazy mornings, pools, hikes and lots of friends all summer long is what we are looking forward too most! We are also counting down the weeks until Katie’s new baby boy is here! Summer 2021 here we come1
