Outdoor Movie Night
Gather your friends and family for one last outdoor event. A movie night worth rememering!
Ok, so I may be biased but this outdoor movie night was the best one I have ever been too! Weather you make it over the top or simple, what is not to love? Popcorn, nachos, candy, root beer floats, twinkle lights….I could go on and on but just take a look for yourselves. The pictures really do say a thousand words.
Outdoor Movie Essentials/Menu:
Movie items:
Blow up screen (a sheet would work too!)
Speakers
Twinkle lights (set the mood…)
Extension cords
Blankets, pillows, etc.
Food items:
Nachos
Candy
Root Beer
Ice cream
Popcorn
You could serve popsicles or even hot chocolate.
Just get out there and enjoy this fall weather before it’s too late.
“Every night should be movie night!”
We added some wooden crates to act as tables and found all our serving trays so passing around the food was much easier. I’m just wondering why we don’t do this every weekend? It was so charming and magical. The best fall night! ( We all know how much Brooke loves fall so this night may be on repeat every fall!)
By adding fall decor such as pumpkins and mums we really brought that “mood” to life and I feel like it really completed the whole look. I mean the twinkle lights are hard to beat but a white pumpkin never gets old. Also, for a tip…you can always call stores to see if they have any wooden creates they are throwing away. Tell them you’d be doing them a favor anyways and BOOM, free outdoor tables for your movie night.
Adding food scoops to the candy jars kept things Covid friendly and CUTE! A scoop in anything really just elevates your party and adds that extra detail in. The dollar store sells plastic ones incase your wondering. Don’t forget your lanterns or tea lights (just incase you spill some popcorn…oh and its really cute too!)
