I was born and raised in Utah and graduated from Weber State University in Interior Design. I LOVE design. I love beautiful furniture, accessories, fabric, paint… the works. I think there is such a connection between a person’s environment and their emotional health. I cannot wait to share my tips and tricks to help you create a beautiful home or party that brings you happiness.

My husband Adam and I have been married for eleven years, he is awesome! After I graduated in Interior Design in 2010, we headed to North Carolina while Adam got his MBA at UNC, Chapel Hill. Upon his graduation we headed to Charlotte, NC where we lived for three more years. I LOVE North Carolina and the opportunity I had to explore back East. If you haven’t been to Hilton Head Island you are simply missing out!

Our journey away from Utah continued after living in North Carolina when we moved to Louisville, Kentucky… the land of the Derby. Kentucky also made its way into my heart with large horse pastures, rolling hills, and the most breathtaking sunsets you have ever seen. We lived in Louisville for almost four years before my husband got a job opportunity to head back to Utah. We arrived back to Utah February 29, 2020, just before the world fell apart. The best part about the pandemic for me, was that I finally got to check off my long time goal of starting a blog in 2020.

I love to travel, and would vacation to the Amalfi Coast every summer if I could afford it. I love to meet new people. and see new places. However, I would definitely define myself as a homebody. I love a night on the couch with some good ice cream and Gilmore Girls on repeat.

A big part of my life, that really re-defined everything in my life, was when my mom passed away at the age 55 of early onset Alzheimer’s in 2018. Through watching my Mom’s journey of mental illness my eyes were opened WIDE to say the least. I have learned so much about the connection between diet and mental health. I have dealt with heavy grief watching a loved one suffer with extreme mental illness. While I am light years away from becoming an Alzheimer’s expert, I hope to share some advice on mental health and wellness through our day to day choices that can benefit our long term mental health through what I learned. I think Motherhood is an insanely hard and beautiful job. I think we are all trying our best to raise good children, maintain our own physical and mental health, enjoy life and have fun along the way!
