Hi! My name is Brooke Carter. I am a wife, a mother of 3, a new blogger, and a lover of cotton candy. As I write my first ever blog post I am filled with so many emotions. This space for me is something that has been a long time coming and I am beyond thrilled to share this journey with all of you and one of my best friends, Katie.

I grew up in Utah but moved around the state for college. I attended Utah Valley University and finished my degree, Health Promotion and Education, at the University of Utah. My husband also graduated from the University of Utah but completed his law degree at Brigham Young University. Go Cougars! After all of that we ended up building a home back where I grew up and we could not be happier!

Traveling is one of our favorite things to do and one of my most memorable trips was to Europe. Fun fact, I have been pregnant each time we traveled to Europe. London has my heart but some of my other favorite places to visit include: Hong Kong, India, China, Italy, France, New York, and believe it or not, Chicago! There is just something so magical about a busy city, night lights, yummy food, and visiting the city during their fall season makes it even better.

Did I say fall?! Its my favorite! I could give you a spreadsheet full of all the things I love about it but my next Europe trip will hopefully include sightseeing the beautiful little city of Hallstatt, Austria during its fall foliage.

My ultimate bucket list… owning a golf cart and getting on a game show. I have come close and have been casted several times for Ellen, but the time just wasn’t right so cross your fingers for me and one day you might see me wipe out on her game show.

I love creating and bringing that small touch of detail into life’s most memorable moments. Some of my favorite things to do include cleaning (you read that right), shopping, crafting (like the one time I welded and created my 4x4 tufted ottoman), attending my children’s sporting events and dance recitals, and hosting parties in my home, neighborhood, my children’s classrooms, and even out of town. My late grandmother would always say, “Make a Memory” and I am excited to document some of those memories and details in my life with you!

As a mom of young children, my time is very limited and this space for me is my way to share what makes me most happy in life and all the things that come along with it. Thank you for being here, supporting me, and most of all I hope you can find a little inspiration for you and your memorable details in life.
