2021 Color Trends
Hi friends, does anyone else love exploring the new design and paint trends in January? I think Benjamin Moore takes the cake for the best color this yearโฆAegean Teal! I think it would look amazing on cabinetry or in a Powder Room.
Here are four more colors from the 2021 Paint Trends palette that I love. While everyone seems to want white walls lately, I still think a soft gray is so beautiful in a home. And will someone please paint their cabinetry Sherwin Williams โRosemaryโ and send me a photo!
If you want my design predictions, I think light floors are here to stay, vintage rugs and accessories will continue to reign, and light oak accents and open shelving will not leave. This Kate Marker kitchen from her Black Oak project pretty much sums up what I think stays for 2021.
I do think more colors will make their way onto kitchen cabinetry other than white. Speaking of fun painted cabinetry, how fabulous is this pink kitchen by Stephen Kent Johnson?
And this light blue kitchen by Sherwin Williams is also giving me happy vibes from their color mix forecastโฆ
At first Pantone Color of the year was a bit disappointingโฆwhile visions of 2010 dark gray walls, and yellow chalk paint accessories dance through my head.
However, while I would never want to paint my island yellow, I do love all things lemon and think we are going to see a very yellow spring in home and fashion. Here are a few of my favorite picks to cheer up your January, and donโt we all need a little happy after 2020!?
